This was a trip I took in mid April last season. Â We were blessed with blue sky’s and no wind. Â The Louisiana Redfish were tailing very well everywhere we stopped to pole the skiff. Â The marsh waters remained clear until late April allowing for some great sight fishing. Â Late April marks the end of our redfish season in Louisiana as the Tarpon start to migrate up the Gulf Coast of Florida at this point.
