December has come and gone but what a month we had here in Louisiana fly fishing for Redfish. Â We experienced some fair weather as well as some cool cloudy weather. Â The fish seemed to comfortable for most of the month and happy to be cruising the waters of the Louisiana marsh up on the surface in easy view of Guide and Angler. Â The Redfish during the winter months will all be in the Bull category ranging from 20 – 35 pounds. Â January is here now so we know the weather will remain cool for several months causing the water to stay crystal clear. Â This clarity level allows you to sight fish these Louisiana Redfish in just about any water depth. Â Needless to say Wintertime is fun down on the bayou. Â Come stay in New Orleans and enjoy the evening in the Big Easy then embark on a fly fishing expedition of a lifetime during the day in search of the biggest redfish you will find anywhere.
